The final blog entry
I was in TEAM SWAGGER our presentataion was on the murder of crystal figuroa.
My experience with this class {computer apps} was mind blowing. Simply because I assumed that all I would learn in this class was just keyboarding, and how many words I could type per minute. But I was amazed when we start doing blogs about ourselves and things we learned in class. The teacher Mr. Pinto was a hard but fair teacher, and he was straight to the point and didn’t beat around the bush. But what I also liked about the class is that we did music and audio assignments with garage band. And we made our own songs and beats for class I actually did more musical and audio assignments in my computer class then I did in all of my audio classes. This is kind of crazy because u wouldn’t aspect that to be or do in a computer class but we did another thing. I liked about our teacher is when he noticed that a student would start to slack up a little or fall behind he would pull you to the side. And talk to you ask you what was going on, what’s the reason for the sudden change up or whatever the case might be he was one of those teachers that actually cared for us students.

The grade I think I deserve in this class in an C like a 79 or something but for sure a C because I did miss two weeks of class, but I made up all my assignments and turned them in so I think that a C would be fair.

Awww… YouTube my experience with YouTube is cool I like it because I can watch videos news reports music videos and a host of other shows and things and I can upload my own videos and let the whole world watch it and in a way YouTube is a way of advertising for yourself or other people a lot of the music artist that have deals now are because of YouTube like souljah boy, v.i.c, new boys the ones that sing that jerk song all on the radio and for businesses to like the cable company got a commercial on YouTube some radio stations have live feeds going to it I think it’s cool that we can advertise on YouTube for free and without having to burn gas going from back and forth from business to business and so on and with gas prices being so high it’s good that we have this type of privilege and access to this site and it being viewed by the entire world you can create your own account or page that people can go to and check out all the videos or blogs and pictures that you have or comment something you did or said and that can add you as friends or subscribe to your post or whatever the list is endless with all the things you can do just no obscene pictures or videos are allowed if you upload that then YouTube will delete your account all together I’m not sure if you can create another under your name or not but before you do upload anything it tells you what’s not allowed and it’s up to you if you decide to put that kind of things on it

Virus
I never had a virus on my computer and I never had an experience with one but I have had a computer crush before and I lost over 60 songs and a few programs and the crazy part about it is that we were about to drop our album in a few months but we lost all the song and the back-ups I don’t know how but we did and we all was going crazy trying to find ways of getting the songs back we went to store after store but no one could pull it up and I had to buy a new hard drive and motherboard for the computer and my group and I had to start all over with new songs and really work hard we pushed ourselves to the limit trying to bounce back from that little situation but we still managed to get the cd out in time which it is called “HOODOLOGY” which I don’t really feel it’s as good as it was before we lost the songs but I ill like it cause it showed that me could really get things accomplished when needed or in a limited time

I really like the new program we learned in class last week the Picasa I think it’s cool and I liked taking pictures my partner was real cool and easy to work with very creative I would be using the program a lot more now that I learned how it works my partner and I took over 50 pictures each so we had a lot of fun doing this assignment I think I can be a photographer now or should I say I have enough courage to do it now

what can I say about twitter other then I don’t use it so i cant really speak on behave of it I don’t have any views on it nor have I been on its site so i have no idea of what it looks like and I don’t know anyone that does have one or uses it but from what I hear over the radio is that it is pretty cool its supposedly is better then MySpace and all of the famous basketball players football players and singer and rappers are using it which I don’t really care if they are or not I doesn’t matter to me personally they have all these chat room and chat sites that people go on just because the radio or someone famous says that use it and people rush to it well I’m not that type I’m more of a pick up the phone and call someone type of guy or send me a text I don’t do all the chat room and site I only use MySpace when I’m looking for someone I haven’t seen in days, months, or years

There are a lot of recording programs to choose from when you're creating your first computer based music studio. The choices may seem overwhelming at first but once you consider a few basic details such as what kind of computer you are using you'll be able to make a wise choice. I am not going to tell you whether you should use a PC or a Mac as that argument long ago became tedious. You can create a top quality computer based music studio with a PC or a Mac. But when you choose your music software be careful because some programs only work with one or the other or work much better with one or the other. If you are using a PC then you should cross MOTU's Digital Performer and Apple's Logic off your list because their Mac only programs. And you should have a computer built and not use a personnel one. a lot of people say that Pro Tools is the "industry standard “program but that's mostly because people love to do what everyone else is doing. There's nothing special about Pro Tools. Sure it's a great piece of software, but so is Nuendo, sonar, and cubase. One problem with Pro Tools is that it’s not good choice for PC users. Because it don't work with Windows Vista and the next version is supposed to be Vista compatible I don't know when that version will be available and even then, it will only be compatible with the "Ultimate" version of Vista if you own the regular version of Vista it will be a $200 dollar upgrade. and for XP Pro Tools doesn't work as good as it do on the Mac. It's definitely a good choice for Mac users, but you should avoid it if you are on the PC. Steinberg's Nuendo & Cubase along with Sony's Acid and Cakewalk's SONAR. Acid & SONAR are only to be used by Windows computers but Steinberg's Nuendo & Cubase are well suited for both Windows PCs and Macs.

The most challenging thing that I learned in computer applications is the course itself because of all the post and post that we have to do and the internet I’m not use to blog post or writing down my feeling and thoughts online for millions to see and read it feel so weird you know because we have MySpace, tweeter, and other online chat rooms but its not the same because people aren’t really putting their feeling on display in a way most of the time the ones who do are really just hiding behind their display name and writing all kinds of obscure bull just to bring down others and hurt their feeling or start rumors about someone that they’re jealous of but back to the subject at hand this is the most challenging things I ever done because I’m not use to talking out loud about myself or others let alone post it on the web which makes this hard to do especially when its for a grade but at the same time I can see why people like or love to blog about their feeling or issues because there is people somewhere out there that are going threw the same thing as the person that posted a blog or have went threw the same and he or she would res it and give advise or comment about it and it can really help somebody somewhere on the other side of the world get thru whatever their going thru and lift they’re spirits so that they can feel better about their self and make it so he or she can stand tall

When it comes to music i feel Hip Hop is the best because it has the power to move you in many directions. Hip hop music is a music genre typically consisting of a rhythmic vocal style called rap which is accompanied with backing beats. Hip hop music is part of hip hop culture, which began in the Bronx, in New York City in the 1970s, predominantly among African Americans and Latin Americans. The term rap music is often used synonymously with hip hop music.

Rapping, also referred to as MCing or emceeing, is a vocal style in which the performer speaks rhythmically and in rhyme, generally to a beat. Beats are traditionally generated from portions of other songs by a DJ, or sampled from portions of other songs by a producer, though synthesizers, drum machines, and live bands are also used, especially in newer music. Rappers may perform poetry which they have written ahead of time, or improvise rhymes on the spot with or without a beat. Though rap is usually an integral component of hip hop music, DJs sometimes perform and record alone, and many instrumental acts are also defined as hip hop.

Hard Hitta Entertainment

Hard Hitter Entertainment is a new label that I'm starting in Las Vegas it will be the best record label in Nevada. It will come with a full studio, that will run on pro tools hd and have the top of the line equipment. We will promote all aspects of music from rap to rock. We will be very hands on with all of our artist and producers, as well as engineers, from artist development to marketing and promoting. We will also have class for those who wish to learn the different aspects of the industry from how to produce, engineer, manage, to how to promote themselves. We will do more then just music with our entertainment company we will touch on sports, clothes, shoes, cars, etc., you name it we will have a hand in it. It's my dream to have a label that would really open doors for up-coming artist, athletes, designers, and dancers of all kinds. We will also try to open a performing arts institute where you can go and showcase your talent, know matter what it is. It will be available to have shows so you don't have to go to the hotels here in town and get turned down, because they don't want you to perform your music, or you are under age. It will be something for all ages.
